Scaling Infrastructure Access with Ease—AlpacaX Joins Plug and Play

AlpacaX has been selected to participate in the Global Market Expansion Program (GMEP), a government-backed initiative in South Korea designed to support early-stage startups exploring international growth opportunities with practical resources. Through this program, AlpacaX accelerates its approach to potential partnerships and market entry strategies, particularly in the U.S. market.

Selected for Global Potential and Strategic Readiness

We saw GMEP as a timely opportunity to advance our global plans, particularly in entering the U.S. market and building stronger ties with international developer communities. The Deep Tech track of the program aligned well with our focus, offering structured support and access to relevant partners and platforms.

The program’s rigorous evaluation process recognized our readiness to scale internationally and the strength of our market strategy. We were selected based on our unique approach to simplifying and streamlining infrastructure access—replacing legacy SSH with a zero-trust architecture that’s more user-friendly, quick to set up, and easy to manage, while still meeting high enterprise-grade safety standards. Our proven execution in complex environments, combined with a clear path to monetization in the U.S. DevOps market, also contributed to our selection.

As part of the program, we will collaborate with the Korea Institute of Patent Information and the Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, California, under the Deep Tech category. Plug and Play is one of the world’s most prominent startup accelerators, having supported numerous early-stage success stories, including Google, PayPal, and Dropbox. Their deep-tech focus, global network, and hands-on mentorship model fit perfectly with our goals for accessible, reliable infrastructure management.

We will participate in a four-week immersion program in Silicon Valley, which includes investor meetings, one-on-one mentoring, PoC discussions, and market development activities. We will also gain exposure to leading tech firms and institutions such as Google, Meta, Stanford University, and UC Berkeley.

For us, this program is not just a chance to expand—it is a key step toward making infrastructure access more straightforward and more intuitive for global teams. In the U.S. market, credibility and ease of adoption go hand in hand, and Alpacon is built to deliver both.

Plug and Play’s program offers exactly the environment we have been looking for. Its structured format—from curated partner introductions and private pitch sessions to focused peer engagement—is designed for early-stage companies navigating high-stakes markets. As an infrastructure product that depends on developer confidence, Alpacon stands to benefit directly from these touchpoints as well as the global reputation of Plug and Play. We view this program not just as support, but as a testing ground where we can refine our strategy, build credibility, and lay the groundwork for sustainable growth.

Support and Next Steps

Through GMEP, we will receive both domestic and international support, including business model diagnostics, IR training, and a travel and business development grant of up to $20K to support overseas engagement. The program is designed not only to enhance short-term visibility but also to lay the groundwork for long-term global competitiveness.

A key milestone will be the public beta launch of Alpacon SaaS, enabling DevSecOps teams to manage server access, permissions, and activity logs with less friction and faster onboarding. We will also explore collaboration with cloud MSPs and channel partners to expand reach and validate our go-to-market strategy.

This marks a strategic inflection point in our journey—one where our infrastructure security vision shifts from local innovation to global execution. With the Support of GMEP and the guidance of Plug and Play, we are ready to move forward toward scaling our solutions in international markets.
